Pferde Farm is proud to provide excellent services for clients and top quality care for horses. The barn at Pferde Farm has fifteen 10X12 stalls, two 12X14 stalls, and one 12X20 stall. Exterior stalls have windows, and four large end doors allow for excellent air flow through the barn. The barn stays a comfortable 35 - 50 degrees during winter months. The wood paneled tack room is fitted with cabinets, bridle, and saddle racks for each client. A wash stall with hot water is available. Horses are usually turned out in semi-private paddocks. The farm is completely fenced and hay is stored separately from the barn to prevent fire hazard.
Pferde Farm has a 64X164 fully insulated, heated, well lit, indoor arena that is raked, watered, and resurfaced on a regular basis in order to maintain good quality footing.
Horses are provided quality hay and Progressive feeds or Nutrena Safe Choiceis fed twice a day, with the ability for clients to may make separate arrangements for horses with special needs. Supplements are fed in the am at no extra charge when supplied by the owner.
Regular dental exams are provided by veterinarian and equine dentist John Hoeck, DVM, A/CEqD and his wife, Melanie Hoeck, A/CEqD. Top-quality veterinary services within a short distance of Pferde Farm include Anoka Equine Veterinary Services and the University of Minnesota Large Animal Hospital.
Clients can use their own farrier, but they must be present to hold their horse unless otherwise arranged.
